            Export Policies

            1. Each month we fish from different areas of Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika. Long-time customers may already be familiar with our fishing plan. Every expedition lasts for a full month and continues until all of our offered varieties have been captured.

            2. After capture, all new fish are quarantined (including deworm) in our fishery located locally in Tanzania for 10-14 days until their health has been confirmed. Our team spends 7-14 days on the water catching fish from different areas of Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika. Trucks move the captured fish from the lakes to our fishery in Dar es Salaam. In total from the water to export, it takes roughly a month for the fish to pass our meticulous checks to verify quality before sale. Once ensured to be healthy, they are exported worldwide.

            3. As soon as we receive your order, we will confirm all your reserved fish in 48 hours. We will send out your packing list, invoices, and book your flights in the next 48 hours. Once you receive our packing list, invoices, and air waybill you must pay 100% of the full cost (handling, boxes, agency fee, invoices) within 24 hours, otherwise, your shipment will be canceled.

            4. DOA Term: DOA (dead on arrival) must be reported within 48 hours of arrival with both photographs and videos. These must be provided for compensation to be considered. All DOA’s credit towards your next purchase.
